Turkey Burgers
Credits: The Type 2 Diabetic Cookbook
- 3 lbs ground turkey
- 1 c bread crumbs or oats
- 1 sweet onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp chopped fresh thyme
- salt and pepper
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 8 equal patties, about 1/2" thick.
- Cook until golden and completely cooked through.
