Sam's Lasagna

  1. Chop onion and saute in oil until translucent
  2. Add turkey to onion and cook until browned
  3. Chop chard and blend with pasta sauce, mix with turkey
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  5. Smear some sauce in the bottom of a 9"x13" pan, then layer noodles, sauce, cheese, until ingredients are gone (usually 3 layers)
  6. Sprinkle additional cheese on top
  7. Bake covered with tin foil for 45 minutes
  8. Uncover and bake 5-10 minutes until golden brown

This recipe is extremely versatile. You can substitute a different ground meat, use zucchini slices instead of noodles for a low carb option, add ricotta or cottage cheese for richer texture, or omit the cheese for a dairy free option.
